Preparatory summer session for international students [Mathematics]
 
An extra summer session - a preparatory mathematics course - is open for international students. Due to the difference in mathematics curriculum among countries, many students from abroad are having difficulties understanding the university lecture at which discrete explanation about Korean high school level mathematics is neglected. The lecture is about prerequisite concepts and theories of mathematics to help understand undergraduate engineering courses. From freshmen to senior, any student in engineering department who wish to review or preview underlying basic calculus and algebra for engineering lectures are recommended to take the course free of charge.
 
The course will cover
- Korean High school level to basic undergraduate level Calculus and Algebra
- Polynomial functions, system of equations, trigonometric functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, matrices, differentiation, integration
 
 
Time: 8/10 (Wed) ~ 8/25 (Thu) 1:00 pm~ 4:00 pm
* Upon the request of the international students taking this class, the period of summer session and class hours can be extended.
 
Classroom: #106, Innovation Hall, Korea University
