Detailed Job Descriptions:
- The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the customer liaison

for technical discussions regarding products, applications, and issues while servicing

and qualifying both new product introductions and existing Daychem products at

Heraeus Materials Korea. The selected individual will train at the Daychem facility in Dayton,

Ohio for six months. Afterwards, the assignment will be in Korea. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Analyze, identify, and/or resolve technical problems or complaints from customers in 

order to maintain and increase business 
? Perform troubleshooting of a variety of technical issues from products related matters 
? Identify and cooperate R&D projects of Heraeus and/or customers 
? Identify new technology, new applications and new markets 
? Report to local and global organization regularly with technical information 
? Analyze semiconductor and display technology trend and provide valued information to 

internal organization and customers 
? Promote new products and company to customers and industry 
? Author and/or present technical reports, technical papers, project updates,

and technical overviews for internal presentation, journals, and conferences 
? Attend technical conferences, trade shows, and educational courses to remain current in 

the field as it relates to existing and future technologies 
? Handle confidential information with care 
? Travel in the field as necessary

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry or related field and a minimum of two

years semiconductor and/or display industry experience are required. A PhD is preferred.

The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Demonstrate

a customer focus; exhibit a high level of motivation and initiative, and possess a positive

attitude readily embracing change. Knowledge and experience in electronic materials

for the semiconductor and/or display industry is required. Must be able to travel up to 50%

in order to visit customers, present technical papers, and attend conferences. Must be able to

speak fluently and communicate in writing in the English and Korean language.
