This is a notice about the 2014 winter semester Korean Language Exam Acknowledgement Language Course for graduate school students. Foreign graduate school students in Doctoral & Master’s Degree Program should refer to the information below.
1) Subject of Lecture : Foreign Students in Graduate School Doctoral & Master’s Degree Program
2) Course : Korean Language ( Will be cancelled if students are less than 7 )
3) Placement test : 5pm on December 23th (Tue), 2014
(You may find your result of the test from KLC website on Deceber 24th. Classroom is to be announced as well.)
4) Course Period (A) : January 5th(Mon), 2015 ~ February 24th(Tue), 2015 (Total 8 weeks, 84 hours)
Course Period (B) : December 30th(Tue), 2014 ~ February 26th(Thur), 2015 (Total 8 weeks, 48 hours)
* We open only Course (A) in Sejong Campus.
5) Hours : (A) Mondays through Thursdays 18:00 ~ 21:00 ( in the evening )
(B) Every Tuesdays & Thursdays 18:00 ~ 21:00 ( in the evening )
6) Application Period : December 8th(Mon), 2014 ~ December 17th(Wed), 2014 (By 3:00PM )
7) Course fee : (A) 470,000 KRW / (B) 280,000 KRW
8) Grades
Academic affairs office of Graduate school : Each department of graduate school would make an announcement on the names of the applicants who passed the exam.
※ Students who achieves B or higher grade would pass.
※ Korean Language and Culture center may not announce those names.
Therefore, please contact School Affairs office of graduate school for obtaining information on the announcement schedule.
9) How to apply : Fill out the attached application form with a photo and submit it to KLC office (Rm #208-B, Int`l Studies Hall) in person. Please transfer the course fee to Hana Bank after the result of placement test is announced. (Hana Bank 391-810002-65004 (Korea University IFLS))
* Those students who want to take the course (A) in Sejong Campus can apply at Rm 110, academic affairs office, administration building.
* If those students who belong to Sejong Campus want to take the course (A) or (B) in Anam Campus, please apply at Korean Language and Culture Center in Anam Campus.
* If those students who are appropriate for the course (B) after the placement test, they have to take the course (B) in Anam Campus. They cannot take the course in Sejong Campus.
(But, those students who are assigned to course (B) can take course (A) in Sejong Campus, if they want.)
10) Refund :
The students can get fund only those who submit the cancellation form before the course starts. When you fill in a cancellation form at KLC office before courses begin, you may be able to get 100% refund.
※ Refund would be done within 10 days after you submit the cancellation form.
